Atop the Ice Castle, the Lady Snow's standard flies, whipped by the strong mountain winds. All around the Gathered Realms, the pennants are flying, and the banners stand proud.
Constantly changing, the Banners of the Gathered Realms are a mark of pride for the masters and mistresses of the Realms who honor the Lady Snow.If you would like to join the Banner Exchange for the Gathered Realms,
read and understand the following:
- You must have a tasteful standard size banner to display, 468 by 60 pixels.
- Sites of an adult nature or containing questionable or illegal content will not be accepted. All member sites are regularly reviewed.
- Sites which are entirely sales or advertising based will not be accepted. Your site must contain content.
- If you are linking to or promoting the National Library of Poetry (known under a variety of names, the most seen online being poetry.com) or other such scams, you might not be accepted, even if otherwise acceptable. Please realize that this is a questionable enterprise which exists for the sole purpose of bilking would-be writers out of their money. A sample of their "best poetry" from one of our own members can be found here. Many more samples from people who have done in-depth exposés can be found here and a wide variety of information by searching google for "poetry scam"
- Any type of site except those previously mentioned will be considered, but there is a strong focus on poetry and other creative arts related sites. Sites which do not fall under these categories should have some connection to the arts.
Contact Lady Snow if you wish to ask any questions regarding the eligibility of your site prior to applying.- If you will be placing your banner on a forum, message board, or other such active location, you must notify us. It must be a seperate account from any banner on a regular website, and banner impressions will be apportioned at a different rate than a standard website.
- Lady Snow is the final arbiter of acceptance. You may be removed at any time, for any reason, with no notice given.
